What's inside

BlackoutOS is organised like a library, so that every subject has one home and every guide can be found, cited and updated on its own. The numbers below are read from the working structure, not written by hand.

Six levels

Area→Collection→Library→Topic→Subtopic

Area

A part of the product, such as Survival or Medical & Care.

Collection

One module you install and update on its own, such as Water (WAT).

Library

A shelf within it: Making water safe (WAT-3).

Topic and subtopic

A topic is one guide you open: Boiling (WAT-3.3). Its subtopics are its sections, and every citation points to one.

Six areas

Survival keeps the short guide for an emergency; the other areas hold the deep material it points to.

In this proof of concept

One module, Water (WAT) 1.0.0, protected and encrypted, with one guide written so far. The app shows the whole tree of the collection from the content map, so you can see where the guide sits.
